Hatchback car spares Terms and Conditions (last updated 9th June 2010)
Hatchback car spares also acts as an introducer between customer and car spares supplier, and can not be held responsible for any error with parts ordered or car spares/ parts supplied. The customer is solely responsible in checking that all parts quotes requested contain the
correct information and that all spares/ part quotes supplied by the us or our suppliers conform and are consistent with the part quote requested. The customer is solely responsible
for keeping appropriate records of all conversation with the supplier be it by phone or email. Hatchback car spares can not be held responsible for any order problems or
discrepancies. Hatchback car spares will give no refunds to any customer for parts
incorrectly ordered, any parts supplied incorrectly or any parts/ spares that are now
not required. The customer is responsible for checking that parts ordered are the
correct car spares/ part.
Governing Law
The client, the customer and the supplier shall hold the 'introducer' (Hatchback car spares) harmless in and from all claims, liabilities, damages and detriments not arising from the introducer’s actual negligence or malfeasance. The client, customer and supplier irrevocably covenant,
promise and agree to hold the 'introducer' harmless from and against all losses, claims, expenses, suits, damages, costs, demands or liabilities, joint or several, of whatever kind or nature that the client, customer or supplier may experience as a result of using the services of the 'introducer'.
Fitting Service
Hatchback car spares is not in the business of locating 'car spares/ parts fitting centers',
if a supplier offers this service it is entirely the parts purchasers decision and
responsibility, Hatchback car spares will not get involved in any disputes in the unlikely
event of a problem arising.
Conduct
Please note customers will usually be contacted by Hatchback car spares if the car spares are either in or not in stock.
Advice
No parts/ car spares must be altered, modified or dismantled in any way. Failure to comply with these terms will invalidate your refund. In the event that a part/parts is/are supplied and prove to be incorrect or faulty upon fitting, the supplying member must be notified within 48 hours. See our refund policy on the payment page of our website. Refunds are can only made upon the RETURN of the goods to Hatchback car spares (see refund policy on our payment web page). All engines purchased must be fitted with a new timing belt / cam belt / chain and filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this PROCEDURE will result in the no refund. Please ensure all gearboxes are filled with new oil upon installation. Please ensure all goods are checked thoroughly before being signed for as refunds are not always possible for goods that have been damaged whilst in transit. The words unexamined or unchecked ON the delivery note / docket are not acceptable. All parts purchased are supplied on a part(s) only
basis. Hatchback car spares and members of its network are unable to accept any responsibility
for labor charges incurred in the fitting or removal of parts.
Nor do we accept any responsibility for vehicle hire charges or any other consequential loss. Please note if you use our car spares finder service all members of the network are independent
from ourselves, therefore we recommend that you make a note of the telephone numbers
and names of the company(s) that you receive quotations from.
Hatchback car spares are unable to accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any parts purchased via this network, or for any damage or loss that may result from their subsequent use.
Delivery of parts by post or personal delivery drop off is none refundable.
*Courriers will NOT insure body panels in transit such as doors and wing panels etc therefore we cannot refund damaged goods in anyway if they happen to be recieved damaged. .
